Intersection claims another life

On Sept. 10, there was yet another death that occurred at the Minnesota Highway 23 and Kandiyohi County Road 5 intersection.

This particular intersection has been the scene of numerous accidents throughout the years and all too many of them have included fatalities.

I have a question that I would like someone from the Minnesota Department of Transportation to address:

How many accidents and fatalities have to occur at this intersection before something is done to make it safer? Clearly having a flashing yellow light is not effective enough.
