GRANITE FALLS -- The State Fire Marshal's office and the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's office are investigating a fire that burned a rural Clarkfield residence around 11:15 p.m. Monday evening.
According to Sheriff Bill Flaten, a person has been arrested in connection to the blaze. The Clarkfield Fire Department and Ambulance, along with the Granite Falls Ambulance, were also called to the scene.
Flaten also noted that more information about the incident would be released later today or Wednesday morning.
