WILLMAR -- An investigation into the work-related death last month of a Rice Memorial Hospital is nearing completion, hospital officials said Thursday.
Lorry Massa, chief executive, said the findings will likely be released some time next week.
Sue Leukam, 51, of Belgrade died Nov. 26, three days after sustaining severe injury in an accident with an automatic filing system. She was an employee in the hospital's medical records department.
A meeting is scheduled this afternoon with her family to discuss the fatal accident with them, provide information and answer questions, Massa said.
The accident has been under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Willmar Police also have been conducting a parallel investigation.
