CLEAR LAKE -- Irene F. Kowitz, 73, of Clear Lake and Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Belgrade, died Nov. 21 in Mesa, Ariz.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls.
She was born March 18, 1933, in Belgrade to Ole and Alice Tharaldson.

She married Kenneth Kowitz on June 22, 1957, in St. Cloud. They owned and operated Kowitz Trucking from their home in Little Rock, Minn., from 1957 to 1995. They moved to Cross Lake, and later to Mesa, Ariz., and Clear Lake.
She is survived by her husband; children: Kevin (and Rose) Kowitz of Sauk Rapids, Kim (and Steve) Will of Edina, Coleen McNally of Foothill Ranch, Calif., Susan Kowitz of Geneva, Switzerland, Kris Jore of Zimmerman; six grandchildren; and 10 siblings.
She was preceded in death by one son: Keith.
