Irene Niedzielski

WILLMAR -- Irene Niedzielski, 80, of Willmar died Thursday at her home.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Willmar.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born June 9, 1925, in Manchester, England, to Frederick and Elizabeth (Grange) Hogan. She grew up in Old Trafford, Manchester. She received her education from St. Bridges and O.T. Senior Girls Schools.
She married Wasyl "Bill'' Niedzielski on Oct. 25, 1952, in Manchester. In 1953, they lived in Regina, Toronto and Ontario, Canada, for 12 years. They moved to Encino, Calif., for five years before residing in Willmar. She worked with her husband as a bookkeeper for Bill's Standard Service Station in Willmar. After Bill died in 1987, she continued to live in Willmar.
She was a member of AARP, Willmar Senior Citizens Club and was a volunteer at Rice Memorial Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her sons: Stefan Niedzielski of Anchorage, Alaska, and Nicholas (and Beth) Niedzielski of Willmar; two grandsons; and sisters: Joyce and Olive of England, and Jean (and Nick) of Connecticut.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and two sisters.
