PENNOCK -- Irwin Randolph "Irvin" Anderson, 92, of Pennock died Monday at Infinia at Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Reformed Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Kerkhoven.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born April 9, 1915, in Hayes Township, Swift County, to Albert and Tomine (Vestgaard) Anderson. He grew up in Hayes Township and attended District 29 through the eighth grade. He later worked for area farmers.

He married Genevieve Myhre on Dec. 2, 1939, in Willmar. They lived in Bend, Ore., where he worked for Brooks Scandlin. In 1942, they moved to Minneapolis. From 1944 to 1946, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. They moved to the Kerkhoven area where he worked as a blacksmith and farmed his homestead. He retired from farming in 1976 and they moved to Pennock. They spent three months a year in Arizona for the next 18 years.
He was a member of First Reformed Church in Willmar.
He is survived by his wife; children: Randolph (and Susan) Anderson of Bloomington, Owen (and Marlys) Anderson of Pennock, Allen (and Audrey) Anderson of Savage and JoAnn (and Larry) Benson of Belle Plain; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six siblings.
