ST. MICHAEL -- James Arthur Simchuck, 65, of St. Michael, formerly of Willmar, died Tuesday at Fairview-Southdale Hospital in Edina.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson Chapel in St. Michael.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Primgar, Iowa, to William and Marjorie (Ullman) Simchuck. He graduated from Willmar High School in 1959.

He married Sharilyn Freese on June 6, 1970, in Willmar. They lived in Willmar for a time. He worked as a signal light technician for the City of Eden Prairie Street Department for 27 years. He taught flying and was a small aircraft pilot.
He is survived by his wife; children: Jacquelyn Williams (and Leonard Payne) of Everett, Wash., William (and Sarah) Simchuck of Tracy; one granddaughter; his mother of Corcoran; and two sister: Betsy (and Richard) Pearson of Webster, S.D., and Linda (and Barry) Swanson of Corcoran.
He was preceded in death by his father.
