BEAUMONT, Texas -- James Enger Nelson, 76, died Monday in Beaumont, Texas.

He was born June 25, 1932, in Willmar to Harold and Signie Nelson. He grew up in Willmar. He served in the U.S. Army and was in the Korean War. He was a long-time resident of Beaumont, Texas.
He is survived by a sister: Maren Roberts of Beaumont, Texas; and a brother: Craig Nelson of Willmar and their families.
