WILLMAR -- Jan Marie Dahl, 51, of Willmar died Saturday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar after battling cancer for several months.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Willmar Assembly of God Church.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born Jan. 4, 1956, in St. Louis, Mo., to Carol J. (Haselwood) and Owen H. Flaata. They moved to Minot, N.D., and in 1958, they moved to the Sacred Heart area. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1974. She then attended Willmar Technical School of Cosmetology and received her license in 1975.
On June 18, 1977, she married Lon Holien and they lived in the Willmar area.
On October 16, 2005, she married Jeff L. Dahl in Hawaii. They lived on Norway Lake. She worked at Ridgewater College as an instructor in the Cosmetology Department and also worked for Peterson Brothers Funeral Home as a cosmetologist.
She is survived by her husband of New London; one daughter: Amanda Holien (and fiancé Ty Hippe) of Sartell; one son: Barrett Holien of Minneapolis; two stepsons: Jared Dahl of Hawick and Jason Dahl of New London; one granddaughter; her mother of Willmar; two brothers: Bruce (and Lynn) Flaata of Granite Falls and Russell (and Kim) Flaata of Granite Falls; and three sisters: Margo (and Keith) Holien of Spicer, Denise Hammre of Sacred Heart and Ruth (and Jeff) Goldenstein of Kerkhoven.
She was preceded in death by her father in 2006.
