Emily Janssen and Brett Kubat were united in marriage May 22 at Salem Covenant Church in Pennock.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Karen Janssen of Kerkhoven. The groom is the son of Tony and Dawn Kubat of Oakdale.

Maid of honor was Rachelle Janssen, sister of the bride. Bride's attendants were Cassie Johnson, Savanna Arnold, Kristy Mitteness and Kari Leftwich, friends of the bride.

Best man was Eric Kubat, brother of the groom. Groom's attendants were Mark Kubat and John Kubat, brothers of the groom, and Jake Johnson and Tim Malloy, friends of the groom.

A reception and dance were held at Kandi Entertainment Center in Willmar.

The bride is attending graduate school for physical therapy in Grand Forks, N.D. The groom is a second lieutenant and attending pilot training at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Okla.
