MONTEVIDEO -- Jason Alexander Weber, 25, of Montevideo, recently of Mankato, died Friday at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis after a battle with cancer.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

He was born Dec. 23, 1981, in Wadena. The family moved to Montevideo in 1982. He received his education in the Montevideo school system and then received his GED at age 18. He was employed as a machinist in Montevideo. He had recently moved to Mankato with his fiancée.
He was a member of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his father: Clark Weber of Montevideo; his fiancée: Dawn Evensvold of Mankato; brother: Wayne (and Rose) Grattan of Brainerd; sisters: Michelle (and Ricky) Bruner of Minneota, Jessica Weber of Montevideo; and grandparents: Alex and Renee Weber of Prescott, Ariz.
