CUMBERLAND, WIS. -- Jean Phyllis Young, 89, formerly of Belgrade, died Saturday at her home in Cumberland, Wis.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Grace Lutheran Church in Belgrade. Burial will be at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery in Belgrade.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade and will continue for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
She was born April 10, 1918, in rural Belgrade to Carl and Dagny (Sund) Kittleson. She grew up in the Belgrade area where she attended school.

She married Kenneth Young in 1940 in Brooten. She was a homemaker, and worked at the Belgrade Nursing Home as a kitchen aid and also in housekeeping until her retirement in 1992.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Belgrade and of the Belgrade Saddle Club, for over 20 years.
She is survived by her son: Jon (and Pam) Young of Turtle Lake, Wis.; daughter: Zona (and Gerald) Pederson of Golden Valley; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother.
