RENVILLE -- Jeanette Vanden Einde, 87, of Renville died Tuesday at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Emden Christian Reformed Church in Renville. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
She was born Oct. 5, 1918, in Ericson Township, near Renville, to Fred and Ida (Schultz) Ahrenholz. She grew up and received her education in the rural Renville community.

She married Drys Vanden Einde on Oct. 18, 1943. They lived in Renville.
She was a member of Emden Christian Reformed Church and active in church organizations, including the ladies aid. She also did volunteer work, with Renvilla Nursing Home being a favorite. She was recognized as the Renville County RSVP Volunteer of the Year in 2000.
She is survived by her children: Marilyn (and Roger) Roelofs of Fridley, Mark (and Sandy) Vanden Einde of Minnetonka, Darryl (and Linda) Vanden Einde of Redondo Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings: Wilbert (and Gertrude) Ahrenholz of Prinsburg and Anna Roelofs of Artesia, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989.
