PAYNESVILLE -- Jennis B. Olson, 86, of Paynesville died Tuesday at Koronis Manor in Paynesville.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Crystal Hills Assembly of God in Paynesville. Burial will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita, Kan.
Visitation is from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Daniel Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Memorials are preferred.
He was born Nov. 2, 1921, in rural Hawick to Johan and Louise (Thorness) Olson. He moved to Wichita, Kan., in the late 1940s where he eventually started his own business, Olson Sewer and Drain Cleaning, Inc., and later Olson Realty. He retired due to health concerns in 1972. They returned to Paynesville.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Litchfield.
He is survived by his wife: Darlene; children: Jim (and Patty) Olson of Longmont, Colo., Kathie (and Peter) Chandler of Wilson, Wyo., Jacob Morgan of Aztec, N.M., Marilyn (and Brian) Butler of Land O'Lakes, Fla., Teresa (and Jack) Lee of Haysville, Kan., and Liz (and Harry) Lahr of Paynesville; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alyce, second wife, Sue, two brothers, six sisters, and daughter-in-law, Renon Morgon.
