OLIVIA -- Jewell Opal Johnson, 80, of Olivia died Thursday at the Renville County Hospital in Olivia.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Olivia. Burial will be at the Olivia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Emmet Township, rural Renville, to Henry and Adela (Grunert) Butenhoff. She graduated from Renville High School in 1944.
She married Roy M. Johnson on April 25, 1948. They lived in Olivia. She worked as an office secretary at Wagemaker Law Office for many years. Roy died in 1990.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Olivia.
She survived by four children: David (and Nan) Johnson of Apple Valley, Robert (and Sandra) Johnson of Willmar, Wayne (and Marilyn) Johnson of Kent, Wash., Gayle Trotter of Olivia; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister: Marvolyn (and Ardell) Refsland.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son-in-law: Robert Trotter Jr.; and one brother.
