HECTOR -- Joanne Louise Perne, 61, of Hector died Saturday at the St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector. Burial will be in the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
She was born Oct. 3, 1945, in Hector to Joseph and Mabel (Rice) Perne. She grew up in Hector and graduated from the Hector High School. She worked at the Hopkins Nursing Home for more than 30 years. She returned to Hector to care for her mother, until her mother's death in 2000.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector.
She is survived by her sister: Barbara (and Andrew) Smith of Chaska.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
