KANDIYOHI -- John J. "Jack" Hoeper 52, of rural Kandiyohi died Sunday at his home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Kandiyohi. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
He was born Oct. 12, 1954, in Fergus Falls to John and Anna (Hoefer) Hoeper. The family lived in Battle Lake and the Litchfield and Darwin areas. He attended Litchfield Public Schools.

He married Kim Bengtson on Nov. 22, 1980. They lived in Cosmos, rural Atwater, and Lake Lillian. They moved to rural Kandiyohi in 1982. He worked as a millwright and in construction for Farm Service Elevator and Paul Wachtler Construction. He attended school for boiler work and graduated from Ridgewater College in 1999.
He helped coach youth wrestling for Atwater schools.
He is survived by his wife; children: Amber Hoeper, Joseph Hoeper, Adam Hoeper, John Hoeper, all of Kandiyohi; his mother of Kandiyohi; and two siblings: Judy McClain of Buffalo and Paul Hoeper of Darwin.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his stepfather: Marvin Green.
