LITCHFIELD -- John Ptacek, 90, of Litchfield died Monday at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Litchfield.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born June 8, 1917, in Biscay to John and Frances (Wosmek) Ptacek.
He married R.M. Catherine Hurley. He was a dairy farmer in the Greenleaf area.

He was a member of the Church of St. Philip after the closing of the St. Columban's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughter: Virles (and David) Grimsgard; two grandsons; one great-grandson; and three great-granddaughters, all of Grove City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and three sisters.
