ST. CLOUD -- The Holdingford man wanted for multiple vehicle thefts, identity theft and forgery is in custody in Stearns County. Nathan Richard Johnson, 22, was arrested Jan. 10, according to information from the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
Johnson is being held on $100,000 bail at the county jail on multiple felony charges including motor vehicle theft and weapons possession in Stearns County and motor vehicle theft in Hennepin County. He is scheduled for hearing Monday in Stearns County District Court.
The arrest came two days after Stearns County Chief Deputy Bruce Bechtold sought the public's assistance in locating Johnson, who was wanted for crimes in Stearns, Benton, Morrison, Kandiyohi and Wright counties, along with the Twin Cities metro area and the city of St. Cloud.
