CLARKFIELD -- Joseph Allen Cornelius, 24, of Clarkfield died Sunday at Granite Falls Municipal Hospital.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Clarkfield Lutheran Church in Clarkfield. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. Arrangements are with Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield.
He was born Dec. 5, 1982, in Montevideo to David and Sharon (Mensink) Cornelius. He was baptized and confirmed at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. He graduated from Yellow Medicine East High School in 2002. He attended Canby Vo-Tech for graphic design. He worked as an office assistant at Onward Services in Montevideo.

He is survived by his parents; siblings: Josh, Lynn (and Sean) Nelson; grandparents: Curt and Trudy Mensink, Al Cornelius; and his great-grandmother: Esther Watts.
He as preceded in death by his grandmother.
