PAYNESVILLE -- Joseph Edward "Joe" Moser, 46, of Paynesville died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a 5 p.m. rosary and an 8 p.m. prayer service, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville.
He was born Dec. 12, 1960, in Paynesville to Edmund and Juanita (Lang) Moser. He grew up in Paynesville and graduated in 1979 from Paynesville High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1979 to 1982.

He married Roxanne Schleper on June 6, 1980. They lived near Paynesville. He owned and operated the Eden Lake Lounge restaurant in rural Eden Valley.
He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife; children: Jennifer (and Bryan) Heinen of Cambridge, Stephanie Moser of St. Bonifacius, Samantha Moser of Eden Prairie and Benjamin Moser of Paynesville; one grandson; mother of Paynesville; and siblings: Joanne (and John) Lahr of Sauk Centre, Marty (and Laurie) Moser of Paynesville, Lynnette (and Mark) Casey of Phoenix, Ariz., Sheryl (and Ron) Fuchs of Paynesville, Tim (and Michelle) Moser of Paynesville and Pat (and Lee) Moser of Paynesville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
