MADISON -- Judith Ovedia Osteraas, 93, of Madison died Thursday at Madison Lutheran Home.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Lac qui Parle Lutheran Church. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
She was born on Dec. 19, 1912, in Garfield Township, Lac qui Parle County to Martin and Paula (Digresson) Varud. She attended rural school at District #83 in Garfield Township.

She married Jerrol Osteraas on June 22, 1941, at Ness Lutheran Church. They farmed northeast of Madison for 55 years. She moved into Hilltop Apartments and later into Madison Lutheran Home.
She is survived by her children: LaVonne (and Duane) Schuette of Plato, Jerry (and Karen) Osteraas of Madison, Jeannin (and Richard) Dahl of Appleton, and Edwin Osteraas of Ridby, Idaho; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a niece; and great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister.
