STARBUCK -- Julia Danielson, 103, of Starbuck died Tuesday at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Burial will be at the church cemetery in rural Starbuck.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Memorials are preferred.
She was born May 4, 1902, in Ten Mile Lake Township, near Boyd, to Hans and Syverine (Johnson) Haakenson. After attending school, she worked at Riverside Inn in Montevideo.

She married Daniel Danielson on Nov. 16, 1932, in Montevideo.
She was a member of Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck and was an LCW member.
She is survived by her daughter: Shirley (and Larry) Emmert of Blaine; daughter-in-law: Shirley Danielson of Starbuck; six grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son: David; five sisters and one brother.
