BENSON -- Julien Harry Barduson, 95, of Benson, died Tuesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Big Bend Lutheran Church in Big Bend. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service . Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
He was born May 29, 1913, in West Bank Township, Swift County, to Theodore and Herborg (Aarhus) Barduson. He grew up on the family farm in West Bank Township and attended school at District 72.
He married Lila Larson on Aug. 22, 1934, in Big Bend. He farmed his entire life, except for six years, when he drove truck. He retired in 1973.

He served on the town board, the church board and the fair board. He was a member of the Soil and Water Conservation and the Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his sons: Truman (and Maren) Barduson of Willmar and Gene (and Mary) Barduson of LaJolla, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1998; a son: David Barduson; five brothers; and two sisters.
