BOYD -- June Ardell Willander, 68, of Boyd died Thursday at Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls after a battle with multiple myeloma.
The service will be at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd. Burial will be in Fridhem Cemetery, Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County.
The Lynner Funeral Home of Clarkfield is in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 6, 1938, in Willmar to Joy and Evelyn (Schafer) Homan. She graduated from Hopkins High School in 1956.
On Nov. 14, 1964, she married Oscar "Wendell" Willander in Clarkfield. They moved to Boyd, where she worked at the fertilizer plant and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children: Jacqueline (and Tom) Fossel of Wegdahl, Wendy (and Mike) Skorczewski of Arco, Aaron (and Michelle) Willander of Brooklyn Park, and Angie Willander of Chaska; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother,:Dallas Homan of New Hope; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
