LITCHFIELD -- June Dorothy Horwath, 86, of Litchfield died Thursday at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew's United Church of Christ in Forest City. Burial will be at the Forest City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
She was born June 9, 1920, in Forest Prairie Township, Meeker County, to Walter and Sophie (Rosenow) Rohrbeck. She grew up and received her education in Forest Prairie Township.

She married Lawrence Horwath on Oct. 11, 1941, in Litchfield. They lived in Forest City, Kingston, and Litchfield.
She was active at St. Matthew's United Church of Christ and with the women's group. She was a member of the Forest City and Kingston Birthday Clubs.
She is survived by her children: Junice (and Larry) Anderson of Kingston, Monica (and Larry) Pallies of Cold Spring, Nelda Horwath of New London, Larry Horwath of St. Cloud, Charlotte Fischer (and Al Lewis) of Forest City, Faye (and Junior) Garding of Kingston, Tom (and Joyce) Wilson of North Kingston; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sister: Maybelle Draxton of Elsobrante, Calif., and Carolyn (and Frank) Horwath of Forest City.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandson; three great-grandsons; two brothers and three sisters.
