APPLETON -- Junyce Marie Giese, 67, of Appleton died Tuesday at the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Shible Township. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Zniewski Funeral Home-Vaala Chapel in Appleton and one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born Nov. 26, 1940, in Appleton to William and Mabel (Gronholz) Carstens. She attended parochial school at Immanuel, Shible through the seventh grade and graduated in 1959 from Appleton High School.
She married Gerald Giese on Sept. 26, 1959. She worked for several years at Northridge Nursing Home in Ortonville and the Appleton Municipal Nursing Home. She retired in 2001 due to health issues.

She was a member of the LWML at Immanuel Lutheran Church, the church's quilting club, a past leader of the Hegbert Winners 4-H club and was involved with the FFA for several years.
She is survived by her husband; children: Julie (and Kevin) Jergenson of Benson, John (and Jackie) Giese of Benson and Jason (and Heather) Giese of Appleton; son-in-law: Mike (and Laurie) Munsterman of Appleton; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister: Dorothy (and Dale) Kannegiesser, of Hancock.
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Jodi Munsterman; a brother; and sister.
