Kandiyohi County Board resumes in-person meetings Tuesday

The Kandiyohi County Board will return to in-person meetings Tuesday at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building. The board had met electronically for the past few months.

WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Board will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the board room at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building.

The meeting will be an in-person meeting using social distancing. No more than 10 people will be allowed in the board room at any time.

The board is scheduled to hear a COVID-19 update from Health and Human Services Director Jennie Lippert, Emergency Services Director Kim Lindahl and County Administrator Larry Kleindl.

The board will consider a court rental agreement for the Willmar Education and Arts Center and a resolution establishing an absentee/mail ballot board.

The board is set to schedule a public hearing on Simply Shrimp of Blomkest and the Minnesota Job Creation Fund and to consider agreements on local road improvement projects and the Highway 40 detour.
