WILLMAR -- A Kandiyohi man was sentenced to 100 days in jail and 10 years of probation in December for being involved in a rash of business and residential burglaries in 2004.
According to the criminal complaint, Barry Anton Danielson, 20, was among a group of six people involved in several burglaries.
Danielson was involved with all 11 of the burglaries. Ten of the burglaries occurred during the summer and fall of 2004 and one in January 2004. Only Danielson is charged in all 11 cases.
Gas was stolen Oct. 4 from the Helena Chemical Company of Raymond. The damages and gas cost $100.
Town and Country Tire in Spicer was burglarized in late September. The business reported auto equipment including tires, batteries and car starters stolen. The burglars also spilled 120 gallons of motor oil. The total cost of the burglary, excluding cleanup costs for the oil, was $2,400.

Hanson Tire in New London reported a burglary on the same day. Eight tires, auto batteries, a Mossberg .410 shotgun and a Coast to Coast .410 shotgun were reported stolen. The total burglary and damage costs were estimated at $2,450.
Mike Cronen Residential Construction, a Kandiyohi business, reported $2,900 in tools stolen on Sept. 6.
Lee's Electric near Diamond Lake was reported burglarized on Sept. 1. A storage shed was broken into and more than $8,000 worth of tools was reported stolen. Damages to the building and the cleanup costs of a spent fire extinguisher were estimated at nearly $2,200.
A New London man reported a building on his property was burglarized in early September. Tools and an air compressor were reported stolen. The value of the items plus damages was estimated at $935.
A Lake Lillian man reported his shed was burglarized in mid-August. A General Motors engine was reported stolen. Damages and the value of the missing items are estimated at $525.
A rural Kandiyohi man reported that his shed was burglarized on Aug. 9. He said two KC fog lights and an air cleaner were stolen. He estimated damages and the missing items at $100.
Tools, a 12-gauge shotgun and a .22-caliber rifle were reported stolen from one Raymond residence on Aug. 1. The items and damage were said to cost $1,850.
The Island Pine Golf Course in Atwater reported on June 15 that someone broke into two storage sheds, stole a Craftsman tool box with tools, four tires and a Browning A5 shotgun. There was also damage done to buildings, five golf carts, a sign and several locks. The damages and value of the missing items are estimated at more than $6,400.

Phillips Recycling in Willmar reported a break-in Jan. 17 or 18. Three portable Kenwood radios worth a total of $867 were reported stolen.
Danielson originally faced 35 counts related to the burglaries. He pleaded guilty to 10 counts, eight felonies, one gross misdemeanor and one misdemeanor in connection with the burglaries.
He was given a separate sentence for each count, though each sentence was concurrent. In all, he was given a stayed 48 month prison sentence, 10 years of probation and 100 days in jail.
He was fined $575 and will have to split $24,258.30 in restitution with his other co-defendants.
He will also have to send a letter of apology to each victim, get his GED and do victim offender mediation.
Judge Donald Spilseth also set a daily curfew for Danielson from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
