BELLINGHAM -- Karla Kathleen Cauley, 59, of Bellingham, formerly of Dawson, died Tuesday at the Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester.
The service will be at 1 p.m. today at the Antelope Hills Christian Church in rural Canby.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home.

She was born May 10, 1948, in Concordia, Kan., to Edward and Ruth Ryser. In 1966, she graduated from Clyde Rural High School in Clyde, Kan.
She married John D. Cauley on Feb. 14, 1970. In 1984, they moved to Dawson. She had been employed at the Hephzibah Children's Home, Johnson Memorial Nursing Home, was the manager of the Main Street Card and Gift Shop and Riverside Apartments in Dawson, and in the kitchen of the Appleton Prison.
She was involved with her church, the children's home and preschools and Scouts. She was also a foster parent.
She is survived by her three sons: Clifford (and Irina) Cauley of Kansas City, Mo., Tony Cauley of St. Cloud and Andrew Cauley of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandsons; special friend: Roger Kunde of Bellingham; brothers: Dale Ryser of Concordia, Kan., Mark (and Carol) Ryser of Tacoma, Wash., Wendell (and Donna) Ryser and Ted (and Jane) Ryser of Clyde, Kan.; sisters: Linda (and John) Hammans of Augusta, Kan., Kay Doupnik of Clay Center, Neb., Rita (and Darrel) Conn of Beloit, Kan., Melody (and Leland) Hanchett of Phillipsburg, Kan., and Lisa Koch of Manhattan, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Heidi K. Cauley on June 19, 1998.
