Pearl Cordes, 1, of Atwater, cools down Tuesday in the wading pool at the Dorothy Olson Aquatic Center in Willmar. The daughter of Justin and Jaclyn Cordes seemed to be enjoying the water too much to notice that the temperature was in the mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature will be a few degrees lower today, according to the Weather Service, and there will be a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. It will cool off Thursday with a high around 77, but temps will climb back to the high 80s by Saturday.
