PAYNESVILLE -- Kenneth "Doc" Martin Bergstrom, 77 of Paynesville, died Monday at the Paynesville Area Hospital.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hawick United Methodist Church in Hawick. Burial will be at Burbank Cemetery in rural New London.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred. Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 14, 1931, on the family farm in rural Paynesville to Peter and Lillian (Metcalf) Bergstrom. He attended District 20 grade school and graduated from Paynesville High School in 1950.
He farmed his entire life and also worked for Schuck's Saw Mill and Farmers Creamery in Paynesville. He was a member of Hawick United Methodist Church where he was an usher. He was a member of the Hawick Senior Center, the Historical Society of Paynesville, Farmers Union, and R.E.A.

He is survived by his siblings: Philip (and Eileen) Bergstrom of Paynesville and Leola (and Buddy) Wendroth of Paynesville; and seven nieces and nephews.
