GLENWOOD -- Kenneth Darl Mix, 90, of Glenwood died Sunday at Knute Nelson in Alexandria.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Glenwood United Parish in Glenwood. Burial will be in West Scandia Cemetery, rural Cyrus.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Arrangements are by Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.

He was born March 11, 1918, in Jackson to Glen and Ina (Jimmerly) Mix. He graduated from the eighth grade in Jackson.
He married Eithlyn Loise Poelaert in May 1938 at Jackson. They lived in Jackson and then moved to Cyrus, where he worked as a farmer and carpenter.
He married Bernice Mavis Alsaker-Hubred on Dec. 27, 1995, in Central City, Colo., and moved to Glenwood.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his wife; six children: Carl (and Joene) Mix of Spencer, Tenn., Louis (and Patricia) Mix of Cyrus, Larry (and Jeanne) Mix of Cyrus, Linda Wente (and Kris Moen) of Annandale, Jeff (and Joyce) Mix of Morena Valley, Calif., and Jeannie (and Jeff) Martens of Mesa, Ariz.; two stepchildren: Jim (and Pamela) Hubred of Maricopa, Ariz., and Jan (and John) Hubred Laughlin of Great Falls, Mont; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Beulah (and Nick) Pronk of Jackson and Ruby (and Bob) Thurmer of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eithlyn; four grandchildren; and three brothers.
