EAGAN -- Kenneth Fischer, 71, of Eagan, formerly of Renville County, died July 19 at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.
The service was July 24 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Eagan. Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Arrangements were with J.S. Klecatsky & Sons.
He was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Renville County to Peter and Clara (Hubert) Fischer. He grew up in Renville County. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran.

He married Beverly Olson on Aug. 18, 1957. He worked for Gateway Foods for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife; daughters: Cheryl (and Mark) Goddard, Renee Maertens; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Ann, Sylvia, and Irene.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
