LITCHFIELD -- Kenneth Leroy Berggren, 85, of Litchfield died Tuesday at Emmanuel Home in Litchfield.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City. Burial will be at Nordland Cemetery in rural Paynesville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
He was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Union Grove Township to Willie and Alma (Holmgren) Berggren. He attended Manannah School through eighth grade. He served in the U.S. Army in 1945.

He married Phyllis Peterson on Jan. 25, 1944. They farmed in Union Grove Township.
He is survived by his wife; children: Gregg (and Linda), Mark (and Marti), Barry (and Sherrie), all of Litchfield; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and one infant brother.
