GRANITE FALLS -- Kerman Elvern Albin, 83, of Granite Falls died Thursday at Granite Falls Manor.
The service will be 11 a.m. today at Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Burial will be in West Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery in Hanley Falls.
Lynner Funeral Home of Clarkfield is handling arrangements.
He was born July 7, 1924, to Carl and Ellen (Olson) Albin in Normania Township. He graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1943.

He married Marjorie Rowberg on June 7, 1952, at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls. They farmed south of Granite Falls for 50 years until he retired. He entered Granite Falls Manor a short time after he and his wife celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2002.
He was involved in Rural Youth, measured bins for the CCC, was president of the Farmers Union of Minnesota Falls Township and was a member of the church council.
He is survived by his wife; three children: Doug (and Lois) Albin of Clarkfield, Marjane (and Jim) McCallum of Pueblo West, Colo., and Mary (and Doug) Millar of West Fargo, N.D.; four grandchildren; and one brother: Erling Albin of Hanley Falls.
He was preceded in death by four infant brothers.
