MONTEVIDEO -- Kim Elizabeth Daniels, 52, of Montevideo died Sunday at the Chippewa County--Montevideo Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo. Burial will be at the Tracy Cemetery.
Visitation will be this afternoon and evening with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. and prayer service at 6:45 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
She was born July 24, 1955, in Tracy, to Charles and Sharon (Vershey) DeVetter. She graduated from Tracy High School in 1973.

She married Steven Daniels on March 21, 1975, in Tracy. They lived in Tracy. In 1981, they moved to Montevideo. They lived in Austin from 1985 to 1990 before returning to Montevideo.
She is survived by her husband; four children: Hans (special friend Kristi Riskey) of Montevideo, Eric (special friend Erin Frolander) of Anchorage, Alaska, Heidi (and Jason) Van Marel of Hutchinson, and Kari Daniels of Montevideo; two grandchildren; four brothers: Charles II (and Susan) DeVetter of Council Bluffs, Neb., Michael (and Carol) DeVetter of Minneapolis, Mark DeVetter of St. Cloud, and Paul (and Tammy) DeVetter of Lake Elmo; her parents of Waterloo, Neb.; and her maternal grandfather: Darold Weinberg of Currie.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.
