BENSON -- Kimberly Antoinette Hanson, 45, of Benson died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital after a short battle with leukemia.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Burial will be at Lake Hazel Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church, with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or the Benson Christian School.
She was born Nov. 26, 1960, in Morris to Alvin and Myrna (Arneson) Jacobson. She grew up in rural Benson and attended country school, St. Francis Catholic School, and graduated from Benson High School in 1978. She graduated from Moorhead State University in 1982 with an accounting degree and earned her CPA.

She married David Hanson on Aug. 11, 1990. They lived on a farm north of Benson and raised buffalo. She worked as a senior accountant at Agralite since 1997.
She was a member of the Minnesota Buffalo Association, quilting and book clubs, and was a staff member at Benson Christian School.
She is survived by her husband; children: Jacob Hanson, Samuel Hanson, Jacquelyn Hanson, all of Benson; her parents of Benson; grandmother: Frankie Arneson of Benson; and siblings: Teresa (and Jeff) Guest, Debra (and Toby) Johannessen, all of Benson, and Bridget (and Ken) Bryant of Hawick.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
