HECTOR -- Kirk Allen Hendrickson, 41, of Hector died Friday.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church in Hector. Burial will be at the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
He was born June 12, 1964, in Webster, S.D., to Wayne and Muriel (Lardy) Hendrickson. He grew up in Buffalo Lake and graduated from Buffalo Lake High School in 1982.

He was married to Michele Bipes. He worked for C.S.I., the beef plant, Greg Schultz Tiling, and Hutchinson Technology Inc.
He is survived by his sons: Kirk Hendrickson Jr., Nick Hendrickson, both of Hector; his father: Wayne (and Arlene) Hendrickson of Olivia; siblings: Donna Duering of Willmar, Gayle (and Paul) Smith of Buffalo Lake, Douglas (and Brenda) Hendrickson of Grand Rapids, Kaye Eckstein of Hector, Kelly Hendrickson of Olivia; and his grandmother: Hazel Lardy of Roslyn, S.D.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
