GRAND RAPIDS -- Wes Kitt poured in 24 points and Marcus Smith added 16 as Ridgewater thumped Itasca 92-78 Saturday in a junior college boys' basketball game.
The Warriors, who made nine 3-pointers, shot 52 percent from the field.
Kitt made 8-of-11 field goals and 7-of-11 free throws. He also led the Warriors (3-6) with eight assists. Tony Kley added 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting and had five steals and three assists. Larry Player notched nine points and a team-high 14 rebounds.
Mark Alexander and Nick Neeley had 17 points apiece for Itasca.
The Warriors host St. Scholastics JV at 7 p.m. today.
