WILLMAR -- The Willmar School Board has selected Waconia Superintendent Jerry Kjergaard to be the next superintendent of the district.
The hiring won't be official until a contract is negotiated and approved at a board meeting.
The school board members were informed Thursday night that Mahnomen Superintendent Jon Kringen, who was interviewed Wednesday, had accepted a contract Thursday morning with the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle School District.
