KERKHOVEN -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg piled up 11 hits and 10 runs in the first inning and went on to crush MACCRAY 16-1 for the Camden Conference North baseball title on Monday.
Justin Johnson, Chris Braaten and Lee Keil had three hits each for KMS (11-1, 14-2).
Seven KMS hitters finished with two RBI each.
Braaten (6-0) gave up four hits and one walk. It was his first walk issued in his last three starts.
Caleb Hanson singled in Ben Ruter in the top of the fourth inning, only the third earned run that Braaten, a senior right-hander, has allowed all spring.

Jordan Smith was the losing pitcher for MACCRAY (8-3, 12-4).
KMS hosts a four-team sub-section at Sunburg on Saturday by playing the winner of today's Central Minnesota Christian vs. Minneota game.
