The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg wrestling team, fresh off winning the Section 3A title on Saturday, was given the top seed Monday for the upcoming Class A State Tournament.
KMS, also the top-ranked team in Class A, will take on Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial next Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, which won the Section 5A championship on Friday, is the No. 3 seed and will face Royalton at 9:30 a.m. next Thursday.
The Class A State Tournament is at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
