Jennifer Kodet and Matt McDonough, both of Maplewood, are engaged to be married Aug. 7 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Paul.
Kodet is the daughter of Jim and Nancy Kodet of Olivia.
She is a graduate of BOLD High School in Olivia and St. Cloud State University where she studied social work. She is employed by Presbyterian Homes in North Oaks as director of resident services.
McDonough is the son of Jim and Carol McDonough of St. Paul.
He is a graduate of St. Paul Academy in St. Paul and the University of Minnesota with a degree in environmental horticulture. He is the owner of McDonough Landscaping in Maplewood.
