Justin Kubesh, a senior linebacker from Olivia, tied a career high with 13 tackles and added a sack for South Dakota State in a 31-17 loss to fifth-ranked Northern Iowa last Saturday.
Kubesh, a second-year starter and defensive captain this season, leads the team in solo tackles with 16 and has 32 tackles overall. The Jackrabbits host Texas State in non-conference action at 7 p.m. today in Brookings, S.D.
