PRINSBURG -- Lenora June DeGroot, 83, of Prinsburg died Tuesday at her home.
The service will at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg. Burial will be in the Holland Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Arrangements are with the Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1924, in Holland Township, Kandiyohi County, to Leonard and Jennie (Bonnema) Wieberdink. She grew up in the Prinsburg community and went to District 84 School, Central Minnesota Christian School and Clara City High School. She also worked at the Prinsburg Cafe.

She married Edward DeGroot on Jan. 12, 1944. They lived and farmed near Raymond. In 1972, they moved to Prinsburg. She was employed at the Prinsburg grocery store and Warrens Convenience Store for several years.
She was a longtime member of her church and active in various church women's groups.
She is survived by her four children: Barry (and Marilyn) DeGroot of Raymond, Bonny Dragt-Messer of Windom, Becky (and Richard) Purdom of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Bryan (and Sue) DeGroot of Prinsburg; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Vivian (and Richard) DeGroot and Myrna DeBoer; and one brother: Willis Wieberdink, all of Prinsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982; a son-in-law: Garey Dragt in 1992; and a great-grandson.
