WILLMAR -- After shooting only 26 percent in its last game, Ridgewater hit 54 percent of its shots from the field Friday in a 90-35 win over Vermilion.
Jenny Cunningham had 14 points to lead a balanced attack for the Lady Warriors, who had 11 players reach the scoring column. Ashley Olson had 13 points while Heather Hammond, Katie Johnson and Jamie Munson each followed with 10.
The Lady Warriors were 24 of 38 from the floor in the second half and were 39-for-72 for the game. Ridgewater outscored Vermilion 54-20 in the second half after owning a 36-15 lead at halftime.
Sarah Primus had 10 of Ridgewater's 48 rebounds and Kayla Karnes handed out seven assists.
