WILLMAR -- After crushing Riverland 65-38 Saturday, the Ridgewater Lady Warriors have three games left on the schedule.
The issue is not getting into the Minnesota Community College final eight but earning the No. 1 seed out of the South. The Lady Warriors (5-2, 14-6) are chasing Minneapolis (7-0, 16-4).
Ridgewater hosts Minnesota West (3-3, 10-11) on Wednesday looking to avenge an earlier loss to the Bluejays. The Lady Warriors finish on the road at Fergus Falls and Minneapolis before hosting the state tournament Feb. 24-26.
Ridgewater shot a cool 34 percent against Riverland, but 29 offensive rebounds assured a wealth of second chances.
Post Terra Billiet supplied 14 points and 13 rebounds. Amy Ballard, a freshman guard from Litchfield, came off the bench to scored 13 points.
