WILLMAR -- Ridgewater and Hibbing combined for 150 field goal attempts and 107 rebounds as the Lady Warriors won a non-division clash with Hibbing, 88-44, Friday.
The Lady Warriors took 86 shots, making 36 for 42 percent. Hibbing was 16 of 64 for 25 percent.
All the missed shots made for a wealth of rebounds as Ridgewater collected 72, led by Hilary Groothuis' 11. Hibbing had 35.
"They only had seven players and they got pretty tired," said Ridgewater coach Carrie Ogdahl. "We got to run the floor and we needed that."
All 12 Ridgewater players scored. Groothuis led the charge for the Lady Warriors with 17 points. Kristen Hegna had four 3-pointers to account for all 12 of her points. Melissa Sterkel finished with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Amy Ballard had nine points, Ashley Olson eight and Karen Christopher seven.

For Hibbing, Stephanie Morrisette poured in a 21 points and Alana Lee added 10 points.
The Lady Warriors continue the weekend homestand, hosting Rainy River at 1 p.m. today at Ridgewater College.
