Lake Lillian man injured Saturday in motorcycle accident

The 36-year-old driver of a motorcycle was injured Friday morning when he lost control of his bike near Svea in Fahlun Township.

SVEA — Joseph Hoeper, 36, of Lake Lillian, was injured Friday morning when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving and crashed in a ditch.

The accident was reported at 10:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of 120th Avenue Southeast in Fahlun Township.

According to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, Hoeper was going east on 120th Avenue Southwest, began to lose control of the motorcycle and entered the ditch.

He was taken to Carris Health — Rice Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Blomkest Fire Department and Carris Health Ambulance Service assisted the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
